Fungi are a huge group of organisms, distinct from both plants and animals. They range from microscopic through to quite large mushrooms. Many fungi are edible, yet others are poisonous. Some fungi is used to flavour cheese, make antibiotics, or make yoghurt, while others are seen as mould when food goes rotten. Most fungi live on dead and decaying matter. The singular of fungi is fungus.
Furniture is the name collectively used for items like tables, chairs, beds etc that you find inside your house. Furniture is generally something that you use, but some pieces of furniture are there only for decoration.
Someone is fussy if they get overly concerned about the details of things, or are very particular about what choices they make. Toddlers are often fussy eaters.
