A skateboard is a piece of wood with wheels underneath. You stand on the skateboard and push with one foot to make it go forwards, or just stand on it if you are on a slope. People can do lots of tricks on skateboards, like jumping and twisting. On a large skateboard ramp people can even flip right over in the air.
