Something is <em>dry</em> if it is free of all <a href="/w/water">water</a>. The opposite of dry is <a href="/w/wet">wet</a>. You can also use the word <i>dry</i> as a verb, as in when you dry the dishes, or dry yourself with a <a href="/t/towel">towel</a>.
