Spokes are the thin parts of a <a href="/w/wheel">wheel</a> that connect the <a href="/c/center">center</a> of the wheel to the edges. Not all wheels have spokes, some are solid. Almost all kinds of <a href="/b/bicycle">bicycle</a> wheels have spokes. Spoked wheels are lighter than solid wheels.
