Cis forCage

A cage is something you keep an animal or bird in so it can't get away. Pet birds are often kept in cages, like in the picture.

Cis forCan

A can, also called a tin can or just a tin is a metal container used to store food for very long times. Cans are made from steel coated with a layer of tin. Some cans have ring pull so you can open them easily, most cans need a can opener to open them.

Cis forCanteen

A canteen is a type of bottle you carry with you on a hike. You drink from your canteen when you are thirsty.

Cis forCase

A case is something that goes around something else, for storage and protection. Expensive things that need to be kept safe are usually kept in cases. The picture is of a violin and its case, but it is common to see guitar cases and glasses cases too. Case might also be a word for a situation or the state of things, as in "take some money in case you need it".

Cis forCask

A cask is a reasonably small container, usually used for storing alcoholic drinks. Casks are usually shaped like a small barrel, although the term is often applied to cheaper boxed wine too.

Cis forCasket

A casket is another name for a coffin, or a small chest, like a jewelry box.
A chest is a type of box, usually made from wood with a hinged lid. Chests are typically used to store things that are valuable.

Cis forCocoon

A cocoon is a place a caterpillar makes for itself. The caterpillar goes to sleep inside it for some time and then comes out as a butterfly.

Cis forCoffin

A coffin is a box that a dead person is put into. Coffins are either buried in a cemetery, put inside a mausoleum or burnt into ashes in a crematorium.
A container is something you can put other things inside, to transport or store them.
