Did you ever need to know what a group of geese was called? Well, here are some of the more commonly used collective nouns, with a few of the interesting ones thrown in for good measure.

A group of horses, cows and groups of many other large four-legged animals is called a herd.

A group of leopards is called a lepe or leap.
A group of puppies, kittens or other animals that are born in groups, is called a litter.
