A blowdrier, blowdryer, or hair dryer is a small electric device that blows hot air from one end. It can be pointed at your hair while it is still damp, and the warm air dries your hair. Blowdriers can also be used to make your hair into a new style.
A calculator is a small device that does math for you. Calculators have built-in functions from simple addition and subtraction right through to complex angle manipulation functions.

A cellphone is another name for a mobile telephone, a small phone that doesn't need to be plugged into a fixed telephone line and can be carried virtually anywhere.

A chock is a piece of wood or metal used to hold something steady. Chocks are most often used against wheels to stop a vehicle from rolling away.

Churning is the process of constantly stirring cream to turn it into butter. The container that you use to churn in is also called a churn.

A clasp is a small device used to hold things together. Clasps are usually made from metal, and are most often found on jewelry. Holding your hands or someone else's hand in yours in a tight grip is also called clasping.

A clock is something you can use to tell the time on. It is useful to know the time, so you know when to go to school, or have dinner, or watch your favourite TV show. A small clock that you wear on your wrist is called a watch.
A clothes hanger, or coathanger, is a triangular object with a hook at the top that you use for hanging your clothes up inside a wardrobe. Coathangers can be made from wire, wood or plastic.
