Toothpaste is used with a toothbrush to keep your teeth clean. It is usually mint flavoured, and can contain extra things like calcium and fluoride to keep your teeth strong. Brushing your teeth with toothpaste keeps your gums healthy, stops your teeth from decaying, makes your breath smell better and keeps your teeth whiter. Toothpaste is not meant to be swallowed, and you should spit it out after you clean your teeth.

When it is pure it has no colour, but can be coloured pale yellow, brown, pale green, reddish or even rare instances blue if the stone contains impurities. Topaz has been used in jewellery for thousands of years, and originally any clear yellow stone was called topaz. Now only stones that are the correct chemical composition can be called topaz.
