Punch is a name given to any mixed drink, alcoholic or not, that has fruit juice in it. Punch is usually served in a large bowl, with a ladle for people to help themselves to the drink.

A punishment is something that is given to you when you do something wrong, by breaking rules or the law. Punishments can range from being fined some money, to being smacked to being put to death. Punishments are always unpleasant, and usually are tailored to fit the crime. The opposite of punishment is reward.

Your pupil is the black central part of your eye. The pupil is actually a hole in the center of your iris that lets light into your eye so you can see. Your pupil gets smaller when it is very bright, and big when it is dark. Some animals, like cats, have slit-shaped pupils not round ones.

Puppets are models of people or animals that you can control and make them move how you want to. Puppets are worked by putting your hand inside them, or by moving them using pieces of string. You use puppets to make up plays and tell stories. An interesting kind of puppet is the shadow puppet, where instead of looking at the puppets performing you look at their shadows instead.

A puppy, or pup, is a baby dog or wolf. Dogs are generally called puppies until they are a year old. When a mother dog has puppies, there are usually about six of them born at once.
