Plastic tiaras like the one in the picture are very popular with children who like to play at being princesses.

You tickle someone by poking them or running something like your fingers or a feather over their skin. Tickling feels funny and makes you laugh and squirm. It is almost impossible to tickle yourself. Children tend to be much more ticklish than adults. People are usually ticklish under their feet and on their ribs.

The tides are the rising and falling of the sea because of the pull of the moon and sun on the oceans. The depth of the water near the coast can change by several metres between high tide and low tide. At low tide a beach may have much, much more sand exposed than at high tide. The beach in the picture is at low tide. You can clearly see the dark mark on the jetty posts where the high tide comes to.

A tiger is the largest wild cat. They live in forests and grasslands, and they hunt animals like deer and buffalo to eat. Tigers can jump up to five metres high. A female tiger is a tigress and a baby tiger is a cub.
Tiger's eye is a rock, made up mostly of quartz, that has bands of impurities through it. The bands of colour and a pretty shine to it make it a popular stone for jewelry and inlay work.
