Generated image of a model of a heart, indicating ventricles
A ventricle is a part of the heart. There are two hollow chambers in the heart, called the left and right ventricles. They squeeze to push blood out of the heart. The right ventricle sends blood to the lungs, and the left ventricle sends blood to the rest of the body.
