The giant panda is a large, black and white animal native to China. It is a kind of bear. Pandas can weigh around 100kg. Pandas eat almost entirely bamboo, but will sometimes eat fish or eggs if they find them.

Papyrus is an Egyptian plant commonly found growing around waterways. It was used for many things, the most famous being for a type of cheap paper. Papyrus leaves and stems were also used to make baskets, mattresses, and boats.
A parachute is a large piece of fabric you attach to yourself if you know you are going to fall a very long way and want to land safely. Parachutes slow down the speed of your fall by creating drag. Parachutes are used by skydivers, to slow down racing cars and space shuttles, and for dropping supplies to stranded people from a plane so the supplies don't break on the way down.
