Kis forKilt

A kilt is a traditional Scottish garment for men and boys. It is made from woolen, tartan fabric. It is knee-length, and worn like a skirt.

Mis forMitt

A mitt is a glove that is worn to protect your hand from something. For example, oven mitts protect your hands from heat.

Mis forMittens

Mittens are a piece of clothing you wear on your hands. They are similar to gloves, but instead of going over every one of your fingers they only have a separate part for your thumb, and all your fingers are together in the rest of the mitten.
A nightgown, nightdress or nightie, is something you wear to sleep in. Only girls and women wear nighties.

Ois forOveralls

Overalls are a garment that you wear over the top of other clothes. It is like a pair of jeans or trousers, but instead of only being below the waist it comes up a lot higher and has a front panel that covers your chest and straps over your shoulders.

Pis forPajamas

Pajamas, also spelt pyjamas or just PJ's are clothes that you wear at night when you sleep. Pajamas can be worn by girls, boys, men or women, but nightgowns are only worn by girls and women. The lady in the picture is outside in her pajamas.
