A raincoat is a piece of clothing made from waterproof fabric. Raincoats are designed to keep you dry when you are outside in the rain.

A sari is a long strip of brightly-colored cloth that is worn wrapped around the body. Saris are most commonly worn by women in India.

A shawl is a simple garment that is worn draped over your shoulders, or sometimes worn over your head like a kind of hood.
Most shawls are either triangular or are folded into a triangle.

A pair of shorts is a garment that covers you from your waist down, but doesn't cover your legs completely. Shorts usually stop above your knees.
Shorts used to only be worn by schoolboys, but are now worn by anybody.

A skirt is piece of clothing that has a band around your waist but otherwise is just cloth below the band. Skirts go around both of your legs and not between them.
Skirts come in all lengths from very short, knee length like the one in the picture, or even down to your ankles. Usually only women and girls wear skirts.

A smock is a loose fitting garment often worn over something else, eg a paint smock.
Smock could also mean a garment made by smocking.

A sweater, also called a pullover, jumper, jersey or guernsey, is a garment you wear over other garments for warmth. Sweaters can be made of fabric or knitted, with or without a hood. A sweater with a zip or buttons down the front is called a cardigan.

Trousers are a garment that covers you from the waist to your feet. They are usually black or brown and worn by men to work.

A turtleneck, also called a polo neck or skivvy, is a style of top that has a very high neck. The neck may be so long it is worn folded down. Turtleneck tops usually have long sleeves, but you can also get short-sleeved tops with a turtleneck.

An undershirt, also called a singlet or vest in some countries, is a garment you wear under other clothes as an extra layer. Undershirts are usually white and have no sleeves.
An undershirt worn as outerwear is usually called a tank top.
