Ois forOffice

An office is a room, a group of rooms or even an entire building where professionals work. Offices are usually full of desks and computers.

Ois forOffshore

Offshore means in the water some distance from the shore, the sandy area where land meets a body of water such as an ocean or a lake.

Pis forPaddock

A paddock is a large open space, surrounded by a fence, that is used for keeping animals such as horses, cows and sheep in.

Pis forPalace

A palace is a big, grand house. Palaces are often places that very rich or important people live. Royalty, high ranking members of a religion and important politicians often live in palaces.

Pis forPark

A park is a place where people have planted lots of trees and shrubs and grass. Parks often have a pond or small lake in them, and sometimes a playground too. Parks are nice places to go to take a walk or play a sport like frisbee.
A parking lot is a place where you park your car, usually while you go do something like shopping.

Pis forPeak

The peak of a mountain is its highest point. The top of anything may also be called its peak. Anyone or anything that is at the high or best point is also called a peak, for example "he was in peak physical condition" or "she was at the peak of her career".
A playground is an area especially designed for children to play in. Playgrounds are full of brightly colored play equipment, such as swings and slides.
A police station is a place where Police officers work. A police station might have interview rooms, storage for confiscated items, holding cells for people who have been arrested, storage for paperwork, and offices for Police officers to complete that paperwork in.
A post office is a place where letters and parcels are sorted before being delivered to your mailbox. Most post offices also sell cards and gifts, and you can pay your bills at the post office too.
