Mis forMoult

Moulting, also spelt molting, is when a bird or animal loses some of its feathers or fur so that it can grow new ones. Birds and animals usually moult on the change of season, so that they can grow a thick coat for the winter, or shed their winter coat when the weather warms up.

Mis forMount

You mount something when you get up onto it. Things that you usually mount include horses and stairs. The opposite of mount is dismount.

Mis forMourn

Mourning is when you feel very sad for losing someone or something that you loved. Another word for mourn is grieve.

Mis forMove

You move when you go from one place to another. You can also move a part of yourself like your arm, or pick something else up and move it. The boy in the picture is moving on a scooter.

Mis forMow

You mow grass by cutting it down close to the ground. Most people mow their lawns with a lawnmower, but other grass crops such as wheat are also mown at harvest time.
