A dump is a place where garbage is taken to once you throw it away.

An exit is the way out of somewhere, or the way to leave. An exit might be a place or something you do, for example "he exited the room".
The opposite of an exit is an entrance.

A farm is a large area owned by a farmer. On a farm, animals and crops are grown on a big scale. A farmer may have hundreds of acres of wheat and thousands of sheep or cows. Farms are where food is grown for all the people who live in cities all over the world.
Farms can have many crops or just one or two. A farmer might have an apple farm, or a chicken farm instead of having lots of different things.

A garden is a planned space, full of plants that have been placed by the garden's owner. Gardens can be indoors or outdoors, just for decoration, or for growing fruit and vegetables. Some gardens have plants that are trimmed into shapes, called topiary.

A grocery store, or supermarket, is a place you go to buy all the food you need. Grocery stores also sell other things that aren't food, like toilet paper, diapers, soap and lots of other things you use around the house.

A gymnasium is an indoor space where you go to exercise or play indoor sport.

Your home is the place you live. You can also talk about your home being the place you grew up or the place you came from, as in your home town or even your home country.

A hotel is a place you stay when you are travelling. You pay by the night to stay at a hotel. Some hotels have hundreds of rooms, and you can order meals and other things to come to your room. A smaller hotel where you can park your car is called a motel.

A jail is another word for a prison. People who have done something wrong are locked in jail as a punishment.

A lane is a narrow street.

Sometimes lanes run behind houses and there are only back doors opening onto the lane, not front doors.
