A is for Ache

An ache is a dull pain that can take a long time to go away.

C is for Cramp

A cramp is a pain in one of your muscles that often happens after exercise, or are caused by low salts in your blood. Cramps can hit suddenly and can be extremely painful. The person in the picture has a cramp in their leg.

F is for Fever

When you are very sick, you sometimes get a fever. When you have a fever you feel really bad, but the definition of a fever is that your body is much hotter than it normally is.

H is for Headache

A headache is when your head hurts. You can get a headache because you are sick, stressed or many other reasons.

J is for Jaundice

Jaundice is a yellowing of the skin and the whites of your eyes, caused by an excess of bilirubin. Newborn babies often get slightly jaundiced. It is also a symptom of liver damage.

N is for Nausea

Nausea is a very bad sick feeling in your stomach, like you want to vomit.
People generally get nausea when they are pregnant, have food poisoning or other poisoning or when they are sick.

P is for Pain

Pain is a bad, distressing physical or emotional feeling.
You feel pain when you are hurt or sick, or if something bad happens in your life like you break up with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

R is for Rash

A rash is a change in the appearance of your skin. Most rashes make you look like you are covered in little red dots. Some rashes are raised, some are blistery, still others are flakey. There are lots of different kinds of rashes and even more possible causes, so if you have a rash that is very bad or won't go away, see your Doctor.
