You tilt something when you make it lean slightly to one side or another. The woman in the photo is tilting her head to one side.
You go toward something when you move in its direction, so you get closer to it. The dog in the picture is coming towards the person who took a photo of it.
U is for Upside down
When you turn anything else the wrong way up you say it is upside-down. Cats often lie upside-down with their legs in the air.
Something is vertical if it goes straight up and down. The lines in the picture are vertical. The opposite of vertical is horizontal.
You go via a place when you are on a route from one place to another and you go through that place on the way. For example, "I went to the shops via the post office."
West is a direction. The sun sets in the west in the evening.
