A ridge is a group of <a href="/m/mountain">mountains</a> or <a href="/h/hill">hills</a> that are joined together to make a line rather than being a series of separate <a href="/p/peak">peaks</a>. A ridge might also be any other raised line, like the center of an animal's back.
