Roles

Roles people can take or be forced into that are not quite jobs.

Cis forCustomer

A customer is someone who buys some kind of product or service from a business. Customers are the people you see in shops buying clothes.

Gis forGuest

A guest is a person who has been invited to attend an event, like a wedding or a party, or to stay in someone's home. Guests are usually friends or family.

His forHero

A hero is someone who is very brave and does good deeds that other people can't. Superheros are a special kind of hero that have powers that help them do things like fight crime. Superheros tend to wear costumes. A female hero is called a heroine.

Lis forLeader

Anyone can be a leader. Being a leader means you are the ruler of something or a great role model for others.

Nis forNeighbor

Your neighbors, also spelt neighbour are people who live close to you. People who live in the house next to you are called your next door neighbors. Some people do not like their neighbors, other people find their neighbors make very good friends.

Sis forStranger

A stranger is someone that you do not know or have never met before. The opposite of a stranger is a friend.

Vis forVisitor

A visitor is someone who comes to visit someone else's home or land. A visitor who has been invited or welcomed is called a guest.
A volunteer is someone who works for free. Volunteers usually help with charity organisations, making meals for disadvantaged people, cleaning up trash, planting trees, or many, many other roles too.

Wis forWidow

A widow is a married woman whose husband has died.
