lan Your mother is your female parent. Mother can mean many things, usually your mother is the lady who gave birth to you and brought you home from the hospital. Sometimes it means the lady who brought you up, if you were adopted.

Your neighbors, also spelt neighbour are people who live close to you. People who live in the house next to you are called your next door neighbors. Some people do not like their neighbors, other people find their neighbors make very good friends.

Your niece is the daughter of your brother or sister.

Relationships describe how two people feel about or know each other. If you are in a romantic relationship, you may be married, engaged, or dating. If you're in a platonic relationship, you call that person your friend. If you are related to someone, they're your family.

Your sister is a girl who has the same mother or father as you do.

Spouse is a gender neutral word used to describe someone you are married to or in a long-term relationship with.

Your uncle is the brother of your mother or father.

A woman, sometimes called a lady, is an adult female person. Your mother and your grandmother are women.
