A deck chair is a type of chair you usually sit on to relax, at a beach, in a park or on a cruise ship. Deck chairs are usually made from a timber frame and a cloth seat, and can be folded away when they aren't being used.

A drawer is a kind of box that is fitted into a piece of furniture so it can be pulled out. Drawers have a handle or some other means of gripping onto them on the front to make them easy to pull out.
Some kinds of drawers have locks on them. This kind of drawer is usually found in a desk or file cabinet.

An easel is a piece of furniture you use to put paper or a canvas on when you are painting.

A footstool or footrest is a small piece of furniture designed for you to rest your feet on, usually while you are relaxing on a sofa.

A hammock is a kind of bed that is hung between two supports. The hammock in the picture is hung between two trees.

A mattress is a thick, soft object that is part of a bed. Mattresses are comfortable to lie on.

An ottoman is a low seat with no arms, sometimes with a storage space inside. You often use an ottoman to put your feet up on, like a footstool.

A rocking chair is an ordinary chair with curved pieces fitted to the bottom of the legs so you can make it rock backwards and forwards. People like rocking chairs because they find the rocking motion soothing and relaxing.

Also known as a couch, setee or lounge, a sofa is a soft, padded place to sit. Sofas usually fit two or three people.

A stool is a chair that does not have a back rest or arms.
