Sounds

Snarling is something an animal does when it is angry or feels threatened. It usually shows its teeth and makes a low, rough growling sound.

Dogs and other animals snarl to say "do not come closer" or "I might bite."

A snort is a short, sharp, loud noise made by suddenly blowing out air through your nose.
Horses and pigs are the animals that snort most often.

A squeak is a short, high-pitched noise. Small animals like mice squeak. Metal surfaces that are not well lubricated will squeak when they rub together, for example a squeaky door.

A toot is the sound a horn makes, or anything that sounds similar to that noise.

Your voice is the sounds you can make from your mouth when you talk or sing.
You can also use the word voice to describe using your voice, or just making your opinion heard another way, for example "He voiced his disapproval about the new development".

Woof is a noise a dog makes.

You yell when you shout loudly. People often yell out to get someone's attention, or because they are hurt.

A yip is a short, sharp bark, very similar to a yap.

Yuck is a sound you make when you think something is disgusting. Children often say yuck about food they don't like to eat.

A zing is a sharp sound, like the sound of something moving past very fast.
Zing is also something that adds vitality or excitement to something, as in "add a little zing to your presentation".
