Anything that can move and carry people around, be it powered by an engine, the wind, or by pedalling it yourself.

If you want to go somewhere in a city and you don't have a car or don't want to catch a bus, you take a taxi. Taxi cabs are cars, usually painted a special colour and with a sign on them, that can be hired. The taxi driver will drive you where ever you want to go as long as you pay them.

A toboggan is a small sled that one or two people can fit on. Toboggans don't have runners, they have a smooth bottom instead and the whole bottom of the toboggan sits on the snow.

A tractor is a big vehicle usually driven by farmers. Tractors are used to pull ploughs and harvesters, and for pulling wagons full of hay or other loads. Tractors can be used for pulling other vehicles out of mud if they get stuck. Tractors are designed to run on mud and dirt not smooth roads, which is why their back wheels are so big and have tyres with such deep tread.

A trailer is a vehicle with wheels but without a motor that attaches to a car or truck to help you move things to another place.

A train is a rail vehicle. It is usually made up of a large number of carriages that carry either people or goods, and one or more engines that pull it along the rails.

A tram, or streetcar is a kind of small train that also runs on railway tracks. Trams are typically seen in suburban streets instead of trains or buses.

A tricycle is a three-wheeled vehicle. Tricycles are normally powered by you pedalling. They are good for children because they do not fall over as easily as a bicycle.

A trolley is a type of wheeled cart used to move things around. Trolleys don't have their own motor, and can range from being small enough to push yourself, like a shopping trolley, up to industrial sized trolleys used to move cargo.

A truck is a very large vehicle that is driven on roads. It is used to transport large amounts of goods over very long distances.

Uis forUFO

UFO stands for unidentified flying object. Usually when people say UFO or flying saucer they mean a visiting alien spaceship. Most UFO sightings are eventually identified to be something ordinary, like a weather balloon, an ordinary airplane or a strange cloud.
