People can do lots of tricks on skateboards, like jumping and twisting. On a large skateboard ramp people can even flip right over in the air.
A sled, sledge or sleigh is a vehicle that moves along by sliding. Sleds usually have thin runners underneath instead of wheels. Sleds work best on ice or snow. Sleds are usually pulled along by an animal like a horse or husky, but you can also slide in a sled by yourself if you are going down a slope. People often call a sled pulled by horses or deer a sleigh, a sled pulled by dogs a sled and a sled you slide yourself a toboggan.

Long ago, stagecoaches ran on a regular schedule and made stops along the way for passengers and supplies.

A steamroller, or road roller, is a heavy vehicle used for flattening the ground. It has one or two very large, very heavy wheels that level out whatever surface the roller is moving over.
A submarine is a seafaring vessel that can completely submerge for long periods of time. Some submarines can stay under water for 6 months at a time. Submarines are used for exploring, and by the Navy.
A sulky is a small, two-wheeled horse-drawn cart. It is used for driving or racing horses.
