Sis forShark

Scientific name: superorder: selachimorpha
Sharks are a type of large fish that live in the sea. There are many different varieties of shark. Some eat smaller fish, some eat penguins and seals, and others eat the same way as large whales, by sifting out tiny sea animals from the water. Sharks constantly grow new teeth, and can lose thousands in their lifetime. Their skeleton is not made of bone, unlike most fish and animals, but is made from something softer and more flexible called cartilage. In people, cartilage is found around the ends of our bones to make our joints easier to move.

Sis forSharp

Something is sharp if it has a thin edge or point. Knives are usually sharp, as are the thorns on roses. You have to be careful around things that are sharp so that you do not cut and hurt yourself. Broken glass has very sharp edges. The opposite of sharp is blunt.

Sis forShave

Shaving is removing your hair with a very sharp blade down to the level of your skin so you can't see the hair anymore. Most men shave their chins, some people shave their heads, and other people shave anywhere they don't want hair.
