Mousetraps are small devices designed to catch mice. There are many different designs of traps, but all rely on using some kind of bait and a trigger mechanism that causes something to move very quickly and either catch or kill the mouse.
Larger versions of mousetraps are available for catching rats.

Plastic wrap, also known as Glad wrap, cling wrap, cling film, Saran wrap or Stretch-Tite, is a very thin film of plastic that comes on a roll. You use it to wrap up food to keep it fresh.
Some kinds of plastic wrap come on very large rolls and are used to wrap up large things like pallets of bricks or newspaper to stop them from being damaged in transit. These kinds of plastic wrap aren't meant to be used on food.
Sap is the thick, sticky fluid that is inside tree branches and stems. You can't see it until the plant is damaged in some way, like having a branch cut off or some kind of insect bores a hole into it.
Many kinds of sap are sweet and are eaten by birds and insects. People collect the sap from maple trees to make maple syrup. Latex is made from sap as well.
Scraps are small pieces of something, usually the remnants from cutting out what you want from something. Scraps can often be reused for other projects.
Scrap might also describe general waste that may or may not be able to be recycled, such as scrap metal.
