Grime is dirt and other filth that is stuck to something. The wall in the picture is very grimy.

Jis forJunk

Junk is anything that is considered worthless or with a very low value. What some people consider junk other people may not.

Lis forLint

Lint is a collection of very short fabric fibers that have broken off clothing and linen as it is being used. Lint tends to collect inside washing machines, dryers, the inside of pockets and even in your belly button.
Litter is trash or rubbish that has been dropped on the ground.
Pencil shavings are thin pieces of wood that are taken off a pencil when it is sharpened.
Pollution is something that is introduced into an environment that has a bad effect on that environment. Pollution can be industrial wastes, smoke, fumes, car exhaust, rubbish, excess light or heat.

Ris forResidue

Residue is the leftovers from something else that is not there anymore. When you have food or drink, there is always a little residue left at the bottom of your plate or cup after you have finished eating or drinking. The picture is of some coffee residue.

The rind of a fruit is the hard outer layer that you can't eat. Fruits like watermelon and oranges have rinds.

Ris forRubbish

Rubbish is another word for trash.

Rubble is broken parts of a building, either leftovers from making the building or as a result of the building being knocked down. ruins are typically surrounded by rubble.
