List of collective nouns

Did you ever need to know what a group of geese was called? Well, here are some of the more commonly used collective nouns, with a few of the interesting ones thrown in for good measure.

A clump is a group of similar things, very close together and hard to separate. The picture is of a clump of yellow flowers.

A group of eggs in a nest is called a clutch.
In Kenya, a group of rhinoceros is called a crash.

A crew is a group of people working together to accomplish the same goal. The crew in the picture is a rowing team.

Cis forCrowd

A crowd is a large group of people. Generally a crowd is a group of people with no particular order, jostling together. You can also use crowd as a verb, as in "to crowd in together" which means putting a lot of things in a small space.
A full set of cards, as purchased from a shop in a box, is called a deck or pack.
A group of hares is called a drove. Sometimes they are called a husk.
